Why the Location Change?

Many attendees prefer a Catholic campus and we do too! We hope to return to UST when their new conference center is completed. We did consider several venues, but Macalester best met our needs (space, price, location). Although it was not our primary mission, we were excited to bring Our Lord's Presence to a new place. For example, one of our speakers had a very meaningful discussion with a non-Catholic student worker after he heard her presentation. It was also wonderful to celebrate Mass and have the Blessed Sacrament available on campus. (We thank UST for loaning us all of the items for Mass and St. Olaf Church for loaning us the Tabernacle.)
