Veritas In Academia Classes currently held at: 150 Railway Street East, Loretto, MN 55357 VIA is a Latin acronym for Veritas in Academia, which means Truth in the Academy. The word VIA itself is Latin for The Way. VIA was founded in 2014 and offers classes taught by Catholic tutors who are passionate about imparting knowledge from their areas of expertise in the light of the Truth in order to help lead to their students to the Truth. “Through the grace of the sacrament of marriage, parents receive the responsibility and privilege of evangelizing their children” (CCC 2225).
What does this mean? According to Fr. John Hardon, S.J., it means that parents, more than anyone else, have the supernatural light to know and the strength to choose what, before God, the children need in this life as a prelude for the life to come. For more information, email: [email protected]
