All chemistry courses are not the same and many retailers give their textbook to Mom and say, “Here you go!” We must adhere to the principle that parents need a co-pilot to come alongside them to help guide and navigate their child through the challenges of learning chemistry at home. Chemistry is a course where students can benefit by listening to clear and vibrant teaching that will help them demonstrate proficient understanding of the concepts and calculations they need to know for college.

Richard Risbrudt is a H.S. chemistry teacher of 41 years. After receiving many requests from the homeschool community, including former students who homeschooled their children to develop a chemistry course, ChemExplained.com was created. The entire curriculum includes over 365 teaching podcasts and explains all the chemistry concepts including the math involved, in a language that students can understand. We are blessed to learn some of the calculations God used to create the universe!
