Paul Schaeffer is the assistant director of the Classical Latin School Association and a consultant for schools and homeschoolers. He received a classical education from his parents and at school. He then went on to study philosophy in Rome, where he helped run the International Leadership Semester. He has taught middle school, high school, and college-level Latin internationally. His favorite class to teach was the 7th grade Classical Studies course at Highlands Latin School in Louisville, Ky.
